It’s very hard to get creative with lunch ideas if you’re an employed individual. More often than not, people prefer to eat out since it saves them the effort of preparing their food at home. For someone who’s tired of the same meal plan week after week, I love experimenting with simple baon hacks I read about on magazines and blogs or those I happened to watch on cooking shows. But while I can cook certain dishes, I usually leave it up to my sister since I prefer preparing the ingredients to be used for a particular recipe.
We came across this Creamy Tuna and Mixed Veggies dish while watching Idol sa Kusina one weekend. It was shared by actress Sunshine Dizon who thankfully added that her kids weren’t picky with the veggies she incorporated into the recipe. They loved it so much they call it Mommy’s Best Tuna. And because the ingredients are readily available in your nearest grocery store, we decided to do our own version of it.
