Ayala Center Cebu finally opens tomorrow, nearly two weeks since Metro Ayala was razed by a fire that shutdown the entire mall. I missed it like crazy. For starters, I’ve been accustomed to my (almost) daily grocery runs that it feels weird having to do your groceries once a week because the nearest mall is no longer a 10 min (5, if you’re lucky) trip away from home. Transportation was also a problem with a few cabs plying the vicinity and longer walks to the jeepney terminal (pwede ring exercise but with the weather these past few days?).
It’s great that they’re opening in time for the city’s biggest festival this Sunday. While crowds aren’t my jam and finding a good place to eat is always a problem during Sinulog, it’s always been synonymous with the festivities for as long as I can remember.
Now what to visit tomorrow? I’d probably drop by National Bookstore first, then buy myself some Thirsty and then have a fix of my favorite Potato Corner.
